Fire Risk Assesment

The Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997 as amended in 1999 require just about all UK business to conduct a fire risk assessment on their workplace. As an employer you are responsible for ensuring that you comply with the legislation. If you have a fire certificate you still need to conduct a fire risk assessment as they relate to two different pieces of legislation, where you or your company employs five or more people this must be demonstrated by a hard copy present on the premises and available for inspection. BCS are able to undertake Fire Risk Assessment, to enable you to meet your statutory obligations.
